Adelup ....
Adelup is point in central Guam. A school was built there. It was later condemned, then turned into the headquarters for the governor's office. It sat unused for a long while after a fairly recent typhoon before finally being restored.
Statue of the late Gov. Ricardo J. Bordallo at Adelup's entrance.
A view north from the top of Adelup.
Pretty much the same view, over a little bit.

Matapang Beach
As always, click on the pic for a bigger, clearer image.
This view from Matapang Beach shows Puntan Dos Amantes, or Two Lovers' Point, in the background.
Some tourists doing what I was doing — taking pics.
Better look at Two Lovers' Point, complete with picturesque coconut trees.
A look toward the point where the Hilton Guam Resort & Spa sits.

Cup & Saucer in Hagåtña
This is my favorite little (or big, for that matter) coffeeshop.
It's just down the road from my office, so it makes it convenient to stop by on the way on to work, and to stop by at after lunch, for that matter. I'm SO a regular there. In fact, I even have a USUAL (Earl Grey tea, sweetened, with milk, times two). So it's not coffee; sue me. I get enough coffee elsewhere.
This is the inside. A bevy of tasty treats await you, from cookies to the best cinammon rolls on island to pie and sans rival and sammiches (my fave: ham and brie on french roll — yum!) and tons more.

McDonald's in Hagåtña
They can't all be sunsets and beaches, OK?
I thought I'd also share some of the places of my daily life on Guam. It's part of my secret plot to make people from Guam totally homesick. They're used to the sunsets and beaches — could be anywhere, right?
But the Hagåtña McDonald's? C'mon! Memories galore! LOL
